Anjas, you seem to have experiences of writing a thesis. This proposal has a good structure. However, this proposal does not fit my instruction. Remember, we are going to write a 5-page and a 7-page research paper. To get a picture of your proposal, I need to read more explanations on your idea. You need to check other students' proposal as soon as possible. With the current proposal, I can't say anything about your approach to this project.
second research paper proposal
Self Assembling Entities
CHAPTER 1:INTRODUCTION
- DefinitionThe human existence in this world is always evolved. So does the life system that are incorporate in their existence in this world. Observing this phenomenon, we could learn from the tiniest part of our system, the molecules. By knowing what are the condition of the tiniest part of ourselves in the nature, and how they are trying to evolve for surviving the everchanging live condition, we could learn and know what to expect in the changes that we are about to face.- BackgroundThe first chapter will reveal how the molecules in living entities such as human, animals and plants evolved themselves to survive the external living condition. The principles of change, the design process and how tis evolution effecting the external system such as the natural environment
CHAPTER 2:The Engines of Change- Order from Chaos An explanation towards the instability in the living environment system that are caused by the mutating evolving molecules.- Evolving moleculesFurther explanation of the evolving molecules. How it is then related to the principles of change in the macro world.
CHAPTER 3:TODAY-Our Daily LivesThe picture of technologies that are we using in our daily livesFUTURE- Future PredictionThe future prediction of tomorrow tecnolgies. How new technologies will effecting our life's principle. - Machines EvolutionThe evolution of machines in the future.- Building Materials EvolutionThe tomorrows building materials tecnologies.
CHAPTER 4:COMPARATIONComparing the changes that we are going to face both in micro world (molecules) and in the macro wold ( human living condition)
CHAPTER 5:CONCLUSIONS
Sang's comment
Anjas,
You have come up with a high topic in this proposal.
I have many concerns on this proposal. We need to figure out how you can finish this and your thesis project. You are already behind the schedule compared with other students.
1. Did you talk to your department professors or chair person on this proposal? I asked your classmates to discuss with their advisers/chair persons about research and thesis topics. As far as I know, your major is architecture. Most part of this proposal sounds like one serious research in engineering or chemistry. What is the relation to your major?
2. I told you before. Did you have any chance to look at other students' proposals? We have only 10 weeks to finish two big projects. This proposed research will take more than one semester, I guess. The research paper will be only 5 pages long. Choose one aspect in this report, which is REALLY close to your major.
3. Keep me posted on your brainstorming.
third research paper proposal
Keywords: architecture, organic, living organism, nature, shape, connection, site, harmony, morphology, space
Abstract
Architecture is one of the human made systems to survive in the nature. Architecture as a human expression is always attached to the living condition and environment of man (the human culture, geographic condition, natural resources, and the site topography). The impressions of the organics shape in the nature are always beheld in the human subconscious. That is why a lot of human designed object are inspired from the shape of organism in the nature.
1. Introduction
-Definition of Organic Architecture: why is the organic architecture?
-Organic Architectural shape (organic architecture as an architecture style) versus Organic Architecture as a architectural design concept
2. Body
2.1The concept behind Organic Architecture movements
-Green/sustainable oriented design
-Organic shape that derived from nature
-Harmony between built environments with the nature
-Impact of the organic architecture to the immediate surroundings (socio-cultural, economics, politics, and environmental issues)
- Technology that is used to produced organic architecture (software: CAD, computer aided design, MAYA, Rhino, Generative Components and hardware: heavy utility machine)
2.2 Architectural mass shape and form of Organic Architecture
-Living organism (human, animal, plants, bacteria,) morphology as an architecture inspiration
-Organic Architecture massing shape samples in residential, public architecture (school, government buildings, malls, resort, recreational buildings)
2.3Organic architecture study case:
-Organic architecture movement and development in 1900
-Organic architecture in 1930
-Organic architecture in 1960
-Organic architecture in 2000
2.4Architect that are endorsing the organic architecture movement:
Antonio Gaudi (Spain)
Frank Lyod Wright (U.S.A)
Zaha Hadid (England)
Friedrich Hundretwasser (Austria)
Toyo Ito (Japan)
Santiago Calatrava (Spain)
2.4.1. Buildings
The organic architecture built projects case study
Success and failure in the organic architecture movements
2.4.2 Materials
Type of materials
Form and shape of the materials
Materials origin
3. Conclusion
Interpretation of the research and the analysis

Anjas,
I was glad to see your new proposal, which I mentioned in our meeting, has a very concrete idea and relevance with your major. Congrats on having this research idea.
Here are my comments:
1. Your abstract does not mention on the contents of your paper. It is a good habit to provide an abstract on your papers. However, at this moment, I would not mind this part.
2. Intro: It is good to define your topics. Could you add why understanding this topic is important to whom for doing what? To do this, you need sort of summarize your body parts.
3. Body: You have a huge body part. Maybe you can use this part for your thesis. For the research paper, choose one of two of them. Remember the page limitation, 5.
4. Conclusion: As you mentioned during the meeting, you interpret the texts/findings and provide some forecast/advice.
Good!
